Come and experience cheese making with Fielding Cottage, home to award-winning goat’s cheese since 2009.
This day course will take you through the science behind the process, a tour of our state of the art Dairy, and give you hands-on experience making your very own cheese.
We’ll meet at 9.15am and finish at 3:30pm (approximately), you will also get to enjoy lunch and refreshments in our onsite Farm Shop and Kitchen The Goat Shed!
At the end of the day you’ll take home a certificate, a booklet covering everything you’ve learned, along with a cheese made by you!
Please note we reserve the right to postpone a course if less than six people are able to attend. Tickets are purchased for one person only. The course is not suitable for children of 16 or under. The day involves a lot of standing, we advise customers with mobility issues to contact us first, as much as we can we will try and accommodate for you. Our Dairy is a high-risk area, all attendees must adhere to our strict hygiene procedures, failure to do so will lead to entry into our facility being refused.
Cancellations made up to 14 days before date of selected cheese course, will be offered a course on an alternative date. If there are no immediate suitable future dates, we can provide a voucher to be redeemed for a future course.
Cancellations made within 14 days of the start date of the course are non-refundable and non-transferable. However you may send someone in your place.
Please note that Cheese-making course gift vouchers are non-refundable.
