Fielding Cottage Covid-19 policies
The Goat Shed Farm Shop:
To help keep our customers and colleagues safe we have introduced social distancing measures. To help you keep a safe distance between other shoppers use the helpful green stickers on the floor. We have limited the capacity of our shop to 25 customers. If The Goat Shed is already at capacity we will kindly ask you to wait under the canopy outside the shop.
Masks must be worn when shopping in The Goat Shed, our colleagues will be doing the same.
Customers will find a sanitisation station at the entrance of The Goat Shed. Wipes are available for you to wipe down your trollies and baskets.
Colleagues will be wiping down tills, card machines and high touch points periodically throughout the day.
Staying at Fielding Cottage
As of the 5th January 2021 our Holiday Cottages and Caravan site are currently closed under government guidance.
Measures for when we can re-open
Change over cleans will be undertaken by professional cleaners, using anti-viral cleaning products. For further peace of mind all properties will be fogged using multi-surface biocidal cleaner proven to kill 99.9% of viruses.
As your hosts we will be doing everything we can to keep you safe, and ask for your understanding and cooperation.
Linen bags will be provided, and we ask that on checkout day you please strip your beds and place the linen and towels in this bag. If you could also please leave bedroom windows ajar on departure we would be grateful. Due to the heightened cleaning process and the need to air the properties, we please ask that check out is prompt at 10AM on day of departure.
We will ask guests to bring the cleaning products they are accustomed to at home along with them, to encourage guests to maintain the cleanliness of the property during your stay.
Honingham site only
Unfortunately, the swimming pool and gym facilities complimentary with your stay are still currently closed. The Tennis courts at The Edge Health and Fitness complex are open for use, however you will need to bring your own tennis racket. Our Games room will need to remain closed, other than when all three cottages are hired together by the same bubble. This is following government advice.
Please note that the garden is a shared facility, and we ask to you adhere to social distancing from any other holiday guests, whilst you are using it.
Bookings with infants and young children will need to bring their own travel cot and bedding, however we will be able to provide a high chair.
To reduce the risk of infection we will not at this time be providing complimentary Tea, Sugar, Coffee or hand soap. Please bring your own.
We ask that any food, including in the fridge and freezer – is taken away with you, or disposed of by yourselves before departure.
Contact-free check in
All properties have key-safes and comprehensive pre-arrival information which will be in the cottage when you arrive, allowing for a contact-free check in. If you need anything during your stay, Sam lives on site and is contactable on 07775678782.
We have put together a Covid-19 edition of our information pack, detailing what’s open and where to visit safely in the surrounding area.
