A little bit about us…
As the Grandson of a Norfolk farmer our founder, Sam Steggles, launched Fielding Cottage in 2009. Sam had spent many years thinking of different ways to combine his love of working with animals, with his farming and business knowledge.The eureka moment came for Sam, when he stumbled across the benefits of products produced with goats milk over cows, after further research Sam decided to take the plunge and invest in a small herd of goats.
Ten years later, Fielding Cottage is now an award winning producer of goats cheese, supplying national supermarkets, restaurants and airlines. All products are still lovingly made in our purpose built ‘cheese room’ in the Norfolk countryside, by our close knit team:
The man behind the brand, Sam is the Founder of Fielding Cottage, and has had many roles within the company from milking goats to selling cheese, Sam put his hands to anything to help the team.
Samantha is our production manager, Samantha oversees the day-to-day running of our cheese production, managing out team of cheese staff.
Gary is Production Assistant, aiding our Production Manager in the production of making cheese.
Mary is Business Co-ordinator, working within the office to aid in the smooth operation of Fielding Cottage. Alongside Cheese administration Mary also assists in Fielding Cottages’ other ventures Skin Care, and Holiday accommodation.
Nicky is Production Assistant, aiding our Production Manager in the production of making cheese.
